00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:05.433
Welcome to the Certified Business Intelligence Leader course.

00:00:05.433 --> 00:00:14.666
My name is Adrian and I am delighted to be your instructor for this course.

00:00:14.666 --> 00:00:24.432
As a quick introduction, I have over 20 years of experience as a Business Intelligence professional.

00:00:24.433 --> 00:00:41.266
In my current role, I manage an insights and analytics team which supports a Commercial Sales organisation in a technology company with tens of billions in yearly revenue.

00:00:41.266 --> 00:00:56.832
My team is primarily made up of Data Engineers, Business Analysts and Data Scientists who all work together to deliver scalable insights and analytical platforms

00:00:56.833 --> 00:01:05.733
which enable automated self-service reporting and fast and high-quality business decision making.

00:01:05.733 --> 00:01:17.333
Before you embark on your Certified Business Intelligence Leader course journey, I wanted to give you all a sneak preview of what you can expect.

00:01:17.333 --> 00:01:31.266
There will be a total of ten modules in this course, made up of 18 lessons and supplemented by 24 demo sessions and 5 case studies.

00:01:31.266 --> 00:01:46.432
We will cover the basic building blocks of Business Intelligence and learn newer concepts such as self-service Business Intelligence and technologies which are accelerating Business Intelligence.

00:01:46.433 --> 00:01:55.833
We then wrap up our course by taking a look at an actual implementation of a Business Intelligence solution.

00:01:55.833 --> 00:02:02.999
I do want to make a special mention about the demo sessions which are part of this course.

00:02:03.000 --> 00:02:12.500
These demo sessions are actual screen recordings of how a Business Intelligence professional will perform the actions.

00:02:12.500 --> 00:02:22.000
In addition, you will learn material not covered in the theoretical lessons during these demo sessions.

00:02:22.000 --> 00:02:28.833
With that, let’s get started with our Certified Business Intelligence Leader journey.

00:02:28.833 --> 00:02:33.633
See you in the next video.
